നവ വത്സരാശംസകൾ

പുതു വർഷമുദിക്കുമ്പോൾ

ആശംസിക്കുന്നു ഭാവുകം!

നന്മ കായ്ക്കുന്ന, വൃക്ഷത്തിൻ

പൂക്കളാകട്ടെ നാളുകൾ!

മനുഷ്യത്വം മറക്കാത്ത

മർത്യരാകാം, നമുക്കിനി!   

അന്നേരം, തേടി വന്നീടു-

മനശ്വരത നമ്മളെ! 

പുതുക്കാം പുതു വർഷത്തിൻ

പുളകം പൂശി സർവ്വതും!

ആശംസിക്കുന്നു ഭാവുകം!

മനുഷ്യത്വം മറക്കാത്ത

മർത്യരാകാം, നമുക്കിനി!   

അന്നേരം, തേടി വന്നീടു-

മനശ്വരത നമ്മളെ! 

പുതുക്കാം പുതു വർഷത്തിൻ

പുളകം പൂശി സർവ്വതും!

Different ends of a story

On one evening of the century
Son of man came to earth to see age’s flowery!
On way he saw a crowed,
Coming towards him on proud!
At middle a tided maiden was pulled
And her face was bloody and bowed.
The crowed halted before him and said:
This one was hooked from depth of adultery
Our law command to kill her by throwing stones
You just say how should she be punished?
Son of man said: I repeat, throw first
He who have no sin! Everyone thought:
I will do. Others may thing: I am a saint!
By a moment rain of stones crushed down her!

The Man propped up her and wept: O! My daughter

വാക്കുമ് വാദവുമ്

ഭൂതദാനമ്
ഏതു വാക്കുമ് പഴമ് വാക്കായ്
പൊഴിയുന്ന പഴുത്തില!
ഏതു ചിന്തയു,മേതോ,മുന്
സാധകന് തന്ന ദറ്ശനമ്
എന്തോ കണ്ടെന്നു കാണുമ്പോള്
കാണ്മതുമ് ഭൂത നൂപുരമ്!
പണ്ടേയു,ണ്ടക്ഷരമ് സറ്വ്വമ്
സ്വന്തമില്ലൊരു വറ്ണ്ണവുമ്!

വാദഗതി
ഒരു പക്ഷി പറക്കുമ്പോള്
നില്ക്കയാണതു നിശ്ചലമ്!
ഒരു,മാമല നില്ക്കുമ്പോ‌‌-
ളതിവേഗമ് പറക്കയുമ്!
ലക്ഷമ് നിശ്ചല നാട്യങ്ങ‌-
ളാവറ്ത്തിക്കുന്നു യാത്രയില് !
ബ്രഹ്മാണ്ഡങ്ങള് കറുങ്ങുമ്പോ-
ളെന്തു നില്ക്കുന്നു നിശ്ചലമ്!

Poor thief!

One night, on his way, a poor thief
Fell in well and bid buy to life!
Throwing over fist, oppos Leader
Shouted: chief should answer!
Arrest owner, who built no wall,
Set a commission for enquiry all
No doubt thief must be awarded
For, work and suffering he made!

കാലനീതി

കിണറ്റില് വീണു കള്ളന്റെ
കാററു പോയൊരു രാത്രിയില്!
പറയൂ,പറയൂ,മുഖ്യാ,
പാവത്തിന് ജീവനുത്തരമ്!
പിടിക്കൂ, കിണറിന് ഭിത്തി
കെട്ടാത്ത,യുടമസഥനെ!
വേണമ്, കമ്മീഷ,നന്വേഷ‌
ണമ്,..നഷ്ട‌ പരിഹാരവുമ്!

No fear

I salute oh, my soul of universe
This is life of mine, him and yours
You reside in sky that is
Covering every point of time and space
You give birth, protect and take in
And so called father of every one!
Since none did see you other than
The sages knew you heart in
We made your statues as we like,
And when worship them
Relief and no fear come in,
As he, me, and you, are the same!

ആകാശമേ ജഗത്ത്താതാ
പ്രണമിക്കുന്നു നിന്നെ ഞാൻ
നിന്നിലല്ലോ വസിക്കുന്നു
സറ്വ്വാത്മ്മാവും ശരീരവും

ജനിക്കുന്നു മരിക്കുന്നു
സറ്വ്വതും നിൻ കരങ്ങളിൽ
ഇരിക്കാനും കിടക്കാനും
നീയേ സറ്വ്വ സമാശ്രയം
